Waiting area at LGH upgraded : Prof Khalid Mahmood

Lahore : As per the policy of Punjab Government, waiting area has been upgraded and facilities of air-conditions, clean drinking water and easy chairs have been provided for the attendants visiting there. Moreover big tv screens have also been fixed there for the people waiting there and keep them busy.

Executive Director Punjab Institute of Neuro Sciences Prof. Dr. Khalid Mahmood inspected this waiting area and inspected the facilities being provided there. He directed the concerned staff to put this waiting area open round the clock and it should be ensured that every person coming here is being facilitated. He said that this is our moral duty to create patient friendly atmosphere which would help the patients also in minimizing their problems.

Prof. Khalid Mahmood also directed all the Deputy Medical Superintendents to work efficiently in all the three shifts and work hard for the ailing humanity. He said that Punjab Institute of Neuro Sciences is one of its own kind institutions where patients come from all over the country for neuro diseases.

He while visiting the waiting area also listened the problems of the people present there and assured their redressal.

Prof. Khalid Mahmood also directed to ensure proper cleanliness and adequate facilities also.
