Mother of Capt Mubeen inaugurated newly constructed building of Naulakha Police Station

Lahore : In a bid to provide better working conditions to the police employees for better service delivery the state of the art newly built building of historical Naulakha Police Station inaugurated here today. Mother of Shaheed DIG Captain(R) Syed Ahmad Mobeen inaugurated the newly constructed building of Naulakha Police Station as chief guest here today.

It is worth mentioning here that Lahore Police is concentrating on phase wise improvement of Police Stations and in Badami Bagh police station would also get its new building in a couple of days.

Mother of Shaheed DIG despite her old age and illness participated the inaugural ceremony and she was welcomed with full Police protocol and honor.

Capital City Police Officers Lahore B A Nasir, DIG Operations Muhammad Waqas Nazir, DIG Investigation Inaam Waheed, DIG Security Imran Ahmar, CTO Lahore Captain (R) Liaqat Ali Malik, SSP Operations Lahore Captain (R) Mustansir Feroze, SSP Admin Muntazer Mehdi all divisional SPs and other high ranking Police officers and officials were present on this occasion.

The building of newly constructed Naulakha Police Station is comprised of State of the Art four storeys alongwith basement and covering total area of 12 kanal, 7 marlas and 15 sqr/ft.

The building has been completed in 139 million rupees whereas its approved cost of construction was rupees 144 million. Speaking on the occasion CCPO Lahore B A Nasir lauded the efforts of IG Punjab Police Amjad Javed Saleemi and support of Punjab Government for taking keen interest in completion of this splendid multi storey and multipurpose building in short period of 24 months.

He said that Naulakha Police Station is a beautiful addition in the existing modern Police buildings of the city.  B A Nasir said that Lahore Police has started a newly tradition to inaugurate the buildings of Police department by the heirs of the Police Shuhada.

He further said that no new building of Lahore Police will have the name plate of any serving Police officer. He highlighted the important role of public in crime control and maintenance of law and order situation in the city. “Anywhere in the world, Police cannot get any success in crime control without cooperation and support public” he said.

The CCPO tribute 305 officers and officials of Lahore Police who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. He stressed upon the need to give due respect and honor to the families of martyrs. He informed that all available resources of the department are being utilized for the welfare of low grade officials at Police Stations level.

DIG Operations Lahore Muhammad Waqas Nazir expressed his heartiest gratitude for the mother of martyred DIG Syed Ahmad Mobeen who graced the inaugural ceremony in her old age. He said that presently as many as 12 new buildings of Police Stations of Lahore are under construction. “Any given targets cannot be achieved without providing better working conditions to the Police officers and officials” noted the DIG. There are offices, lock ups, residences, separate laundry room, four observation posts and other facilities provided in the new building of Naulakha Police Station.

Later CCPO Lahore B A Nasir also visited different sections of the new building and expressed his satisfaction over the facilities provided there building. All including CCPO Lahore, DIGs, SSPs, SPs and other high ranking officers saluted the mother of martyred DIG Captain® Syed Ahmad Mubeen on her departure from the ceremony.
