JI’s mass contact drive from 1st of March : Liaqat Baloch

Lahore : Secretary General, Jamaat e Islami, Liaqat Baloch has said that  in the current situation of the country, the Jamaat e Islami’s mass contact drive from 1st of March would be organized as the Defense of Pakistan movement.

He was talking to the media after presiding over a meeting of the JI central leadership at Mansoora. The meeting was attended by JI deputy chiefs including Hafiz Muhammad Idrees, and JI chief for central Punjab, Amirul Azeem.

Liaqat Baloch said that Tahafuz e Pakistan march would be held in Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar in this background and the general public would be mobilized at every level all over the country. Joint sittings of traders,  businessmen, political and religious personalities at every level would be arranged with this objective.

The JI Secretary paid tributes to the armed forces and the PAF for downing two enemy fighters. He said that the entire Pakistani nation stood united against Indian aggression. He said the prompt response to the Indian aggression had raised the morale of the nation.

Liaqat Baloch said India’s brutalities in held Kashmir had crossed all limits and it was time that  the Kashmiris got their right of self determination.

He lauded Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s stance in regard to the Indian Foreign Minister presence at the OIC moot. He said that India was shedding the blood of the human beings and was violating basic human rights, therefore, the Arab world should review its soft attitude regarding India.

Liaqat Baloch said that all the religious parties under the umbrella of the MYC had resolved to play a leading role against Indian aggression and the mosque imams and khatibs had been asked to arouse the sentiments of Jehad and love for martyrdom among the people.
