Punjab University to set up international office for foreign students

Lahore : Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Niaz Ahmad Akhtar has announced to set up international office in order to facilitate foreign students. He said that PU was also planning to enhance enrollment of foreign students.

He was addressing the foreign students studying at various departments of Punjab University during a dinner hosted in their honor at University Club.

PU Registrar Dr Muhammad Khalid Khan, Chairman Hall Council Prof Dr Abid Hussain Chaudhry, Director Students Affairs Dr Asmatullah, deans of various faculties and more than 100 students from various countries participated in the event.

Addressing the students, Prof Niaz Ahmad said that PU’s international ranking was improving and soon we would get good news in this regard. He said that the administration was making efforts for internationalizing the university and foreign students must advise potential candidates to get admission at PU.

Expressing their views, various foreign students said that the administration was extending full support to foreign students and their issues were resolved on priority. They said that PU administration was taking care of them like parents and they loved Pakistan even more than their own countries.
