PUJ sought apology from Minister information Punjab Fayyaz Chohan

Lahore : Punjab Union of Journalist has demanded Information minister Punjab Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan to apologize on overreacting at Al-Hamra on a question put by a senior journalist.

In a emergent meeting called by president Naeem Hanif , the executive body condemned the behaviour of Fayyaz Chohan and said he should tender apology within 3 days or get ready to face consequences.

Naeem Hanif warned if the minister won’t say sorry than a campaign would be launched for his removal from ministry which will be continued till he pulled out from Punjab Cabinet.

The PUJ office bearers said to ask question is a right of every journalist but one can not have the right to misbehave in reply.

PUJ also formed a committee to collect data about promoting vulgarity in the name of promotion of culture and will submit its report in a week.
