Veteran JI leader Ch Rehmat Elahi passed away

Lahore: Veteran leader of Jamaat e Islami Ch Rehmat Elahi has passed away at the age of 93 years. Inna Lillahe wa Inna Elehe Rajeune. His funeral prayer would be offered tonight after Esha prayer at Mansoora.

Ch Rehmat Elahi was a founder member of Jamaat Islmai and had a long standing with Maulana Sued Abu Al Ala Modoodi.He has served JI as acting Ameer , Naib Ameer and Secretary General.
