Lahore : Justice Asif Saeed Khosa will be next chief justice of Pakistan. President Dr Arif Alvi has accorded approval for the appointment of Justice Asif Saeed Khosa as the chief justice of Pakistan and a notification has been issued in this regard.
Justice Asif Saeed Khosa will assume the office on 18th of January a day after the retirement of chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar.
Justice Asif Saeed Khosa assumed office of a Supreme Court judge in December 2016. Prior to that, he served as a judge of Lahore High Court.
