CJP attends 4TH Convocation of Services Institute of Medical Sciences

Lahore : 4^TH Convocation of Services Institute of Medical Sciences took place at Alhamra Hall where Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar was chief guest while Principal of the Institute Prof. Mahmood Ayaz presided over the function.

Vice Chancellors of University of Health Sciences, King Edward Medical University and Fatima Jinnah Medical University also participated in this Convocation where 191 students of Services Institute of Medical Sciences got their degrees and position holders were awarded with gold medals.

Chief Guest Justice Mian Saqib Nisar advised the students to serve the nation with national zeal and fervor and fulfill their responsibilities towards the ailing humanity. He said that it is the high time to come forward to build our beloved motherland as per the requirements of the present circumstances.

He appreciated the results of the Institute and wished the students all the success in their future career especially in the medical profession where they have to work round the clock.

Addressing the Convocation Principal of the Services Institute of Medical Sciences Prof. Mahmood Ayaz said that all the students and their parents who got degrees in 2018 deserve the greetings as their dreams are going to be true. He said that after wearing white coats there would be big responsibility on their shoulders and they have to come in practical field to work for the ailing humanity in the hospitals.

Prof. Mahmood Ayaz hailed the efforts and steps of the Chief Justice of Pakistan for the field of health. He added the endeavors of Justice Mian Saqib Nisar will be written with golden words and the coming generations will also remember them.

Principal SIMS told that presently 86 teachers serving this Institute who are foreign qualified similarly students after getting medical education from Services Institute of Medical Sciences have served all over the world and enlightened the name of their institution.

He said that medical profession is very honorable field which bestows immense dignity and respect to people who practice it conscientiously and brings enormous rewards worldly and hereafter. He also congratulated all the degree holders and said that this success was possible due to best team work in the Institute because of the hard working of faculty members.

In the Convocation of Services Institute of Medical Sciences students participated with full enthusiasm and expressed special interest. They congratulated each other and appreciated the efforts of their teachers and seniors. They lauded the performance of their institution where apart from curricular they are provided best opportunities of extra-curricular activities. They also thanked the Principal Prof. Mahmood Ayaz on holding in time 4^thConvocation and called it a big success.
