Police arrest MNA Afzal Khokhar from Supreme Court

Lahore : Police has arrested MNA Afzal Khokhar on grabbing public land unlawfully from Supreme Court. The court directed DG Anti Corruption ,LDA and Revenue Board to produce land record occupied by Khokhar Brothers in the court and vacate their possession from 48 acres land in Kasur.

Chief Justice of Pakistan led the divisional bench during the hearing against PML-N MNA Afzal Khokhar , MPA Saif ul Malook Khokhar . The court was informed that Khokhar Brothers launched Niaz Baig scheme in 1977 which was approved in 2014 by LDA and TMA. The court questioned how the land was consolidated in 2014 and summoned Consolidation Collector ,Tehsildar and patwari.

The council of Afzal Khokhar requested the court that police has registered a FIR against his client a few hours before so his client be granted time to approach concern court for bail which was dismissed.
