Lahore : A few days after the death of professor Muhammad Javaid of Sargodha University in NAB custody , another under investigation accused Deputy Director LDA Muhammad Saleem has lost his life during NAB custody . He was shifted to Camp Jail, Lahore on a judicial remand on September 26.
Lahore Development Authority deputy director (finance) Muhammad Saleem was arrested by the NAB on Commercialisation Fees corruption case and was sent to Camp Jail on judicial remand by an accountability court.
NAB arrested him along with three other senior officials of LDA Deputy Director Ghulam Asghar ,
Assistant Director EME Department Syed Waqar Abbas and Nabeel Ahmed ,a data entry operator for embezzlement in a case of commercialization of properties by submitting bogus cash receipts in August 2017.
Muhammad Saleem was suffering from a liver disease and was shifted to the Services Hospital after his health deteriorated 10 days ago. He had been under treatment at the hospital during which he died.
