Lahore : Punjab police’s 44 inspectors have been promoted to the rank of DSP. A notification has been issued in this regard.
It was stated that departmental promotion committèe held its meeting presided by Additional IG Ijaz Hussain Shah , reviewed the seniorty and ACRs of the more than 100 inspectors and decided to promote 44 having good record. A few of them were deferred due to bad reports and show cause notices despite the fact they were seniors to those who were promoted.
