LESCO make arrest the private experts of digital meters

Lahore : LESCO has made arrest of the private experts of meters from Madina Town ,Raiwind who were minting money by reversing the electric digital meters . The raiding party has recovered single and 3 phase meters.

The LESCO team headed by Xen Rana Abid Dilshad on the receipt of information about the lab where electric meters were being reversed to save bills and causing line losses to LESCO ,raided and arrested a technician Ghaffar whereas his fellow Dildar  managed to escape.

SDO Syed Kaleem Jaffar said that the accused had taken 2.5 millions from different factory owners for reversing their meters , the said money and tools to open meters were recovered. A FIR has been lodged against the accused for further investigation.
