ACE Bahawalpur book officials of revenue department

Lahore : Anti Corruption establishment Bahawalpur has lodged FIR against officials of revenue department of district Bahawalpur for illegally transferring 94 kanals precious land of central government with collaboration of land grabbers.

This was stated by Director Anti Corruption Bahawalpur Muhammad Imran Raza Abbasi during his visit regarding this issue at Bahawalpur, here, today.

“Those officials of revenue department who have been booked by anti corruption establishment Bahawalpur include: – Patwari Ashtamal Abdul Hameed, Tehsildar Syed Abrar Hussain, Tehsildar Muhammad Ramzan, former Girdawer Rasheed Ahmad and Patwari Muhammad Irshad.

The anti corruption establishment has also included the beneficiary of this illegal act of land transfer Saif-ur-Rehman as well”, Director Anti Corruption Bahawalpur Muhammad Imran Raza Abbasi maintained.

“On a complaint regarding illegal central government land transferred by one Saif-ul-Rehman with collaboration of the officials of the revenue department district Rahim Yar Khan, The applicant alleged that 94 kanals of central government land in the jurisdiction of Moza Maitla Tehsil Liaqatpur district Rahim Yar Khan through a bogus RL-2/79 has been transferred to Saif-ur-Rehman and his accomplices”, Director anti corruption maintained.

During investigation the charges contained in the application were proved and consequently an FIR has been lodged against the concerned officials of the revenue department and the beneficiary Saif-ur-Rehman. The investigation against other beneficiaries is under way, Director Anti Corruption further said.

Director Anti Corruption Bahawalpur Muhammad Imran Raza Abbasi has appointed Assistant Director Chaudhry Muhammad Boota as inquiry officer in this case.
