Punjab Government spokesman unhappy on DGPR

Lahore : Spokesman Punjab Government Shahbaz Gill has expressed displeasure on the performance of Director General DGPR Amjad Bhatti and his team including director electronic media Abid Noor Bhatti .

DGPR Amjad Bhatti and team trying to confront the government and the media by creating misunderstandings.

The DGPR officials have completely failed to create a good gesture of the newly elected government as the majority of the information officers and deputy directors have hardly had a single meeting with the journalists to make strong PR relation with them .

The officers from Public Relations department behaved like the officers of Foreign Service,DMG or Police Group as they never visited any media house since the PTI government formed.They usually informed the media about any event around one hour before which is not a sufficient time for media to cover the event properly . Such behaviour has made a few media persons reactionary and they react strongly when the minister or chief guest become late.

This unfriendly ties between DGPR and Media led to an unpleasant seen today when media was called at DGPR office for press talk of spokesman Shahbaz Gill who become late and media went back after announcing boycott of the event.

Shahbaz Gill excused the media persons on becoming late but none joined his media talk which made Shahbaz Gill furious who sought explanation from DGPR Amjad Bhatti who replied in the same language , showed mood and left the room with all the officers .

Shahbaz Gill said he will talk to CM Usman Buzdar and PM Imran Khan to make effective the department but there was no body who care of him.
