LDA launched crackdown against land grabbers

Lahore : Director General, LDA, Amna Imran Khan has launched an immediate crackdown against land grabbers, illegal occupants and encroachers on state properties.

The LDA staff has finalized list of properties to be retrieved from illegal occupation and chalked out a comprehensive plan for successfully carrying out the operation for achieving desired objectives. Local police and administration has also been contacted for providing assistance as and when required for the operation.

The director general, LDA, has constituted five special teams for carrying our operations in different localities in LDA controlled area of the city, under the convener ship of relevant Director Estate Management. Other members of the team include Director Town Planning for the area, Director WASA concerned, Director Enforcement, LDA, DSP, Police, LDA and Director Engineering and Construction, TEPA.

The Director General, LDA has directed for launching indiscriminate operation for getting back precious land from illegal occupants.

Meanwhile, LDA has announced to auction the lease rights of 22 already operation petrol pump sites situated in different localities in the city. The auction will be held on Wednesday, 26^th September, 2018 at 10.00 Am at LDA Community Centre, new Muslim Town, Lahore.
