ANP leader Ibrar Khalil gun down in Peshawar

Lahore : Unknown assailants on Wednesday gunned down Awami National Party (ANP) leader Ibrar Khalil along with his nephew.

The unfortunate incident occurred in the area of Tehkal Police Station, Peshawar.

The deceased ANP leader was supposed to contest by-poll from Peshawar PK-74.

Earlier, during election campaign, seasoned ANP politician Haroon Baloor along with 19 others embraced martyrdom as suicide bomber detonated his vest in Yakatoot area of Peshawar.
