Lahore : Senior Pakistan Railways official applies for 730 days leave – saying cannot work with new railways minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad due to his “extremely non-professional and ill-mannered”behaviour .
Muhammad Hanif Gul the chief commercial manager in a letter to secretary Railways said that it is not possible for him to work under the minister as he is entitled to work with a team who can share his vision.
It would be important to mention here that Sheikh Rasheed had announced to handed over commercial business of Pakistan Railways to NLC which was opposed by the senior officers who worked day and night to keep moving the rail wheels despite difficulties and remained successful to overcome its deficit and presenting a proud train service.
But the minister dismissed all arguments and said he does not want to face raids n cases after leaving the ministry so he will hand over the commercial business to NLC which is a part of Armed Forces.
