Lahore : Mr justice Mamoon Rasheed of Lahore High Court has stopped notification of Imran Khan success from NA 131. He gave this order on the petition of losing candidate Kh Saad Rafiq from the said constituency while allowing the recounting.
The petitioner plead that he was declared loser with only 680 votes . After the counting of postal ballots and recounting of 4 polling stations his votes added and difference remained only 603 votes. He submitted application for whole votes recounting but TO did not permit.
Meanwhile;Lahore High Court has held the success notification of PTI candidate Sardar Talib Nakai from NA 140 on the petition of Rana Hayat Khan who pleaded that he got more than 1lakh votes and defeated by only236 vote whereas 435 votes were rejected. His polling agents were not given farm 45 so the court order for recounting.
