Lahore : Pakistan Peoples Party has kicked number of leaders from Punjab for not contesting elections on party tickets .
According to the spokesman; Shokat Basra who was awarded ticket for NA -169 Bahawalnagar against Ijaz ul Haq but he did not submitted party ticket at ECP and gave application for the election symbol of Jeep. He was given the right to choose candidates for PP seats but he did not nominate anyone and left the constituency open.
PPP central vice president Mian Manzoor Wattoo. his son Muazzam Wattoo ,daughter Robina Shaheen were ousted from party on not contesting party tickets.
Manzoor Wattoo is contesting as an independent candidate whereas his son and daughter are contesting on PTI tickets.
Multan division president Nosher Langrial , divisional secretary general DG Khan Gulam Farid Meerani and district secretary general Layya Dr Javaid were also kicked out from party on violating discipline.
