Pervaiz Musharraf and Farooq Sattar kicked out from electoral process

Lahore : Former president general Pervaiz Musharraf and Dr Farooq Sattar have been kicked out from electoral process by the Returning Officers due to criminal cases.

Pervaiz Musharraf’s nomination papers from NA-1 Chitral and Dr Farooq Sattar’s papers from NA-245 Karachi were rejected.

On the other hand ; Imran Khan’s nomination papers were accepted by the judge Akhtar Bhinghu who had called Imran Khan to appear in person today but he did not honour the court orders.

Hamza Shahbaz nomination papers accepted from NA – 124 and NA – 132.

Pakistan Barabery party president singer Jawad Ahmad’s nomination papers were also accepted from NA – 132 ,he would probably face former chief minister and president PML-N Shahbaz Sharif who has been allowed to contest elections today. Returning Officer has reserved the judgment in the case of Shahbaz Sharif on 14th of June.
