Lahore : Inspector General of Police Punjab Capt (R) Arif Nawaz has said that JIT is working in the case of murder attempt upon interior minister Ahsan Iqbal ,the accused has been arrested and investigation is underway, to reach the hidden facts JIT is working.
He was talking to media during award giving ceremony among the cops on best performance here at police lines Qila Gujar Singh.
The IGP said that Forensic reports have been received in firing at justice Ijaz ul Hassan residence , as the JIT give us the report we will send it to the high ups.
Later ; The IGP visited CCPO office and inaugurated 2 newly made applications citizen eye and ex-men service
Citizen can report regarding crimes through citizen eye applications where as ex-men service application was made to resolve the issues of retired police men .
SSP admin Ayaz Saleem briefed the IGP about the newly launched IT applications
