Intermediate (Part-II) annual examination 2018 shall start from May 5 (Saturday) under the aegis of Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Lahore. More than one lakh and 71 thousand students will take part in it. As many as 561 examination centres have been set up by the Lahore Board for the holding of the examination.
This was stated by Chairman Lahore Board Prof. Chaudhry Muhammad Ismail in a statement issued here today. He said that Lahore Board has finalized all arrangements for the conduction of the exams and added that training workshops of the examination staff have also been conducted.
The examination staff has been chosen on merit and monitoring teams have been issued directions for strict monitoring and eradication of use of any unfair means in this exam. He said that LESCO has been approached by the Lahore Board for the uninterrupted supply of electricity to examination centres during the exams so that students may not face any difficulty during their papers.
Foolproof security of the examination centres will also be adequately maintained, he further said.
