Immigration department arrest 8 deportee

Lahore : FIA and Immigration cell at Allama Iqbal International Airport has arrested 8 deportee including a proclaimed offender on their arrival.

According to Muhammad Riaz Khan , Inspector Incharge Shift (C) today on 14.04.2018, during Immigration clearance of flight No.QR620, an EP deportee namely Muhammed Afzal s/o Muhammed Tufail r/o Sialkot EP No.ST272715 was handed over by airline staff along with check sheet. Immigration process of deportee was done as per procedure.
From the perusal of check sheet reason of deportation was mentioned as “ Illegal Stay in Greece”. As per passenger , he went to Greece via Iran-Turkey without any travel documents with the help of an agent nelly Roseanne r/o Karachi after paying of Rs.800000/-. Passenger sent to AHTC Lahore for legal action.

During Immigration clearance of flight No.QR620, a deportee namely Khurram Shehzad s/o Nazir Ahmed r/o Faisalabad was handed over by airline staff along with check sheet.The deportation was mentioned as “ Insufficient days on visa”. Passenger departed to South Africa from Lahore airport on 10.04.2018.

During Immigration clearance of flight No.TK714, a passenger namely Hassan Riaz s/o Muhammad Riaz r/o Faisalabad arrived from Turkey and presented his emergency passport No.ST279870 for Immigration clearance.

During Immigration clearance, his name , father’s name and address got hit against BL category in IBMS with the remarks as “ reason for BL- Proclaimed offender of AHTC Lahore. Passenger is being sent to AHTC Lahore for further necessary action.

Imran Ali Shah s/o Bahadur Shah r/o Chakwal holding passport No. NE5141622 and Mazhar Hussain s/o Daim Khan holding passport No. BY6892462 arrived from Zambia by flight # EK-624 dated: 14-04-2018 at Lahore airport.

As per passengers, they travelled to Zambia on visit visa’s by flight # EK623 dated: 12-04-2018 from Lahore airport. At the port of arrival, Immigration authorities refused his entry with the reason “Immigration Reason Host did not show up” and deported them back to Pakistan. Passengers were sent to FIA / AHTC Lahore for further inquiry.
Rashid Minhas s/o Muhammad Arif r/o Mandi Bahauddin holding EP# SS218184 arrived from Kuwait by flight No. QR-628 dated 14-04-2018 at Lahore airport on the strength of emergency passport with the reason “Entered in Kuwait Illegally from Iraq” as per passenger, he travelled to Saudi Arabia on work visa from Lahore airport in the year 2017. During his stay, his visa was cancelled by his Kafeel. Later on he illegally travelled to Kuwait through crossing Saudi border without any travel documents with the connivance of an unknown agent in lieu of 4000/SAR. During border crossing, he was arrested by Kuwait Police and they deported him back to Pakistan.
