Firing at the residence of Justice Ijaz ul Ehsan

Lahore : Unknown accused has fired at the residence of Justice Ijaz ul Ehsan , one bullet hitted the main gate and the other made hole in kitchen .The sensational event made the top brass of Police scared of their honour as the judicial activism left nobody respectable from Punjab .

Rangers was also called for the security of justice Ijaz ul Ehsan.He is resident of H Block Model Town near the residences of Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz which is high security zone. The area was cordoned off with barriers and check posts from all sides and no body could enter there without proper identification and registering himself at check post which causing difficulties for general public. It was made cleared of all barriers and check posts by the order of the apex court recently.

Justice Ijaz ul Ehsan is the member of Panama Bench and a monitoring judge of NAB case against Nawaz Sharif and his family. He is also listening many cases against Sharif family and Punjab Government.

Punjab law minister Rana Sanaullah Khan has said that firing at justice Ijaz residence was made twice ,one in early morning at around 4 AM and the second at 9 AM . Police is working on it and any progress in this case would be shared with media.

The CJP Saqib Nisar reached the residence of Justice Ijaz and called IGP Capt (R) arif Nawaz to reach there. He directed IGP personally monitor the case and report every progress to him.

Meanwhile ; Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the incident and sought report from IGP.

Imran Khan in his tweet strongly condemned the firing at Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan’s house.He alleged that these Sicilian-mafia-like tactics to pressurise senior judiciary are unacceptable in any democracy.
