Disqualification under 1F 62 would be life time : Supreme Court

Lahore : Supreme Court of Pakistan has issued the judgement in tenure of disqualification case under Article 1 F 62 . The court has verdicted that disqualification under said article would be life time as parliament has not defined the disqualification period.

The disqualified prime minister Nawaz Sharif has termed it unwelcomed decision and stated that he was expecting such decision.He also asked party workers to express patience upon this decision.

Jahangir Khan Tareen has announced to accept the decision and said he has no issue with his life time disqualification.

Opposition leader Khursheed Shah has said Nawaz Sharif himself responsible for his disqualification as when PPP asked for cooperation to delete this article from the constitution, he did not support us.
