Ambassador of China Yao Jin called on Chief Minister

Lahore : Ambassador of China in Pakistan Yao Jin called on Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif here today. The matters of mutual interest, the promotion of Pakistan-China relationships, development on the CPEC projects and the expansion of ties between the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Communist Party of China were discussed in the meeting.

The Chinese Ambassador congratulated CM Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif for his election as the president of the PML-N and he also conveyed greetings on behalf of the Communist Party of China. Speaking on the occasion, the Chinese ambassador said the election of Shahbaz Sharif as the head of the PML-N is acknowledgement of is capabilities and untiring hard work.

He said the relationships between the PML-N and the Communist Party of China are improving and the relationship between both parties will further improve in the future under the leadership of Shehbaz Sharif.

He said that Shahbaz Sharif has given an exemplary development to Punjab and for this reason the people of the province give special honour to Shehbaz Sharif.

Inviting CM Shahbaz Sharif to the conference of the international political parties in China, the ambassador said your participation will be honour for the leadership of China.

Speaking on the occasion, CM Shahbaz Sharif said the PML-N and the Communist Party of China are traditional friendly parties and bilateral relations between two parties have improved and bilateral ties will further improve in the future.

He said China is a trusted friend of Pakistan and the leadership of China has proved its love for Pakistan through CPEC which has proved to be a game changer for the region. He said the friendship between Pakistan and China has been transformed into timeless relationship and we are proud of friendship with China. He said CPEC has been proved as a gift and it has improved bilateral ties between China and Pakistan.

He said positive results of CPEC are being produced and CPEC has given a new dimension to the Pak-China friendship. He said there is no parallel of Pakistan-China friendship in the current situation and the people of Pakistan cannot ignore the exemplary friendship of China.

He said the relationship between Pakistan and China is touching new heights. He thanked the leadership of China for their best wishes for his election as the head of the PML-N.

Chinese General Long Ding Bin, senior leader of the PML-N Khawaja Ahmed Hassan and concerning senior officials were also present on the meeting.
