Dedication and honesty towards one’s work and value of helping other should be part both personal and professional life said by Dr. Bishop Alexander John Malik emeritus Bishop of Lahore during his inspirational and highly motivational talk in NH&MP Road Safety Programme “An Hour with the Guest” at Motorway Police Babu Sabu, building complex at Lahore.
DIG Motorway Police Mirza Faran Baig , SSP Kamran Adil , male and lady police officers and a large number of officials were also present on the occasion.
Dr. Bishop Alexander John Malik during his lecture gave the examples from the life of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him) and that of ‘ good Samaritan’ from the scripture ( luke 10: 33), he emphasized that the ultimate salvation lies in helping others, he further connected this to ‘ haquq ul ibaad’ .
His inspirational lecture motivated the officers in the real sense of the word. He further said there is always a room for improvement and if learning and improvements efforts stops, it were definitely going to become stale, stinking and efforts would be hindered and hampered.
He praised the Motorway Police saying that they had set an example of courtesy, honesty, discipline and dedication for other departments of the country.
Motorway Police is matter of pride for all Pakistan, he further added.
The Bishop also distributed articles to the nearby needy at our ‘diwar e mehrbani’ , planted a tree, and distributed gifts amongst officers and officials including those belonging to the Christian community.
On this occasion DIG, Mirza Faran Baig said that officers of NH&MP have greatly benefited from thoughts of Dr. Bishop Alexander John Malik and it will be future guideline for them.
