ATC sentenced serial killer Imran in Zainab case

Lahore : The Anti Terrorist Court has sentenced 4 times capital punishment,life imprisonment and Rs 32 lakh fine to the accused of Zainab Murder case.

The Court held the trial at Kot Lakhpat jail, during the proceedings of the case Imran Ali gave confessional statement to kill 9 girls after rape and refused to defend charges. His council also excused to defend and part away from the case.

The trial continued for 4 days in which state council provided DNA and polyghraphic reports and 56 witnesses recorded their statement.

The accused has right to challenge the punishment in High Court within 15 days.
