Lahore : Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the death of a 20-year-old youth biker when kite string slit his throat in the Neekapur area of Sialkot.
The chief minister has expressed grief and sorrow over the incident and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
He sought a report from the DPO Sialkot, and suspended the DSP City and the SHO Neekapur police station. The directed that departmental action be taken against them.
The chief minister said the ban on the kite-flying should be implemented strictly and stern legal action should be taken against violators.
