Two people including a cop killed at Session Court

Lahore : A cop and a handcuffed accused Amjad Malik killed in indiscriminate firing at Session courts whereas one cop and another arrested man got bullets injuries.The attackers managed an easy escape after getting their target down.

Police and lawyers in a large number immediately reached at the spot but they could not create any hurdle in the way of armed personnel.

The injured were taken to nearby hospital where their condition was not told out of danger.

Firing in the premises of session courts has again under questioned the security level at courts.

Lahore Police spokesman has confirmed the martyrdom of constable Asif Iqbal stating that he sacrificed his life in an effort to arrest the accused.

Meanwhile ; sources have revealed that Ibadat Gujjar alias Batta Gujjar and Toqir Gujjar were involved in firing at session courts to take revenge.

The deceased Malik Amjad was Ibadat Gujjar’s cousin and he had murdered Ibadat Gujjar father on property dispute. They were residents of Raam Gali. Bothe the accused have strong ties with different police officers including DIG Sohail Sukhera , Inspector Rana Akmal , SI Muhammad drees , SHO Shalimar Ashfaq Khan , Inspector Nadeem and others.
