PSQCA seals another six illegal water brands

Lahore : Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) sealed another six illegal brands of water in the provincial capital.

According to PSQCA officials, On directions of Federal Minister for Science and Technology Rana Tanveer Hussain, Director General Khalid Siddiq ordered the task force to take strict action against illegal water brands. On which special task force raided different areas of the city and founds some illegal working water brands.

The task force sealed Almakkah Pure Water, Blue Ice, Water Max, Freshley, Mashk Flow and Meilleur Water brands on the spot over having no licence of PSQCA.

The task force also issued warning notices to four water brands including Water Berry, Water Plus, Jami Water and Erie water brands.

Director General PSQCA ordered the task force to continue the action against illegal brands of water and said that strict action would be taken against the companies involved in preparing substandard and illegal food items.
