Bandits kills an old man in Malakwal

Mandi Bahauddin (Sher Gondal) : Some unknown bandits fired and critically wounded a 70-year-old man when he was asleep at his home in Badshahpur, a village located at outskirts of Malakwal town.

The man moaned with wounds pain for some time and then he was moved to THQ Malakwal but on way he succumbed to injuries.

Malakwal police have registered case and further investigation is in progress. So far the assassinators’ had not been traced out.

Meanwhile in an assault on marriage party, one person was serious injured.

According to details, Bashir resident of Mohallah Manzoorabad had arranged reception of bridegroom’s wedding procession at the eve of his daughter’s wedding in a local marriage hall.

As soon as the procession that had come from Gujrat district arrived, some unknown persons outside the marriage hall started indiscriminate firing.

As result one taxi driver who was part of the wedding procession sustained injuries. He was rushed to DHQ hospital for medical aid.
