Lahore : State Minister for Interior Talal Badar Chaudhry and former federal minister Senator Pervaiz Rashid Friday said that Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) public meeting in tehsil Jaranwala on Saturday (Jan 27) will beat all past records of public participation in any city.
Addressing a press conference after reviewing arrangements for the public meeting at Jinnah Stadium Jarranwala here Friday, they said that three big political parties could not make such a big gathering on The Mall in Lahore which would be held at Jinnah Stadium.
State Minister for Interior Talal Badar Chaudhry said that the PML-N would win the general election 2018 with majority and the next prime minister would be Muhammad Nawaz Sharif himself or his nominee.
He said that Nawaz Sharif had stood up against injustice with the Pakistani people and not for himself.
The people of Pakistan have not accepted the decision against Nawaz Sharif, who gave them projects like China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), he added.
Senator Pervaiz Rashid said that the PML-N public meeting would prove that people of district Faisalabad really love their most popular leader Nawaz Sharif.
When Nawaz Sharif started his journey on the GT Road, it was believed that such type of gatherings would not be seen again, but people of Pakistan witnessed huge gatherings in Abbottabad, Kot Momin, Haripur and Quetta, he said.
He said that people have come out of their homes with new passion to defeat the forces working against democratic setup in the country.
He said that former prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif after coming into power took positive initiatives in various sectors including energy and got rid of power load shedding.
He said that Muhammad Nawaz Sharif also put the country on right track and strengthened the national economy.
He said that general election would prove that country’s economy and development is directly linked to democracy. Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will deliver a speech at the public meeting in Jaranwala about the politics which Pakistan really needs, he added.
