Lahore : Patron-in-chief of Pakistan Hindu Council and Member of National Assembly Dr Ramesh Kumar Vankwani has expressed grief on the murder of two Hindu businessmen in Mithi. In a sad incident, father also died due to shock.
Dr Ramesh Vankwani, informing details, told that Dileep Maheshwari and Rajandra Maheshwari were shopkeepers. They came under attack outside their shop located in Mithi. One brother died on spot while other expired on way to hospital. Dr Ramesh Vankwani also regretted that their father also lost his life due to shock.
Dr Ramesh Vankwani said that such unfortunate incidents bring bad name to the country as a whole.
Dr Ramesh Vankwani criticized the Sindh Government for not implementing the National Action Plan. He said that terrorists like to choose soft targets when Police is busy to provide security to political gatherings.
He added that Mithi is was once known for having zero crime rate and Thar as role model for Hindu Muslim interfaith harmony. However, the presence of anti-social elements could be observed throughout the area, he regretted.
Dr Ramesh demanded to arrest the culprits on priority bases. He said that President Pakistan Hindu Council Hotchand Karmani and Secretary Finance Paman Lal are visiting the family of deceased to share their pain.
