A Chinese delegation visits Punjab University

Lahore :  A Chinese delegation called on Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zafar Mueen Nasir in the committee room of his office on Wednesday.

The delegation headed by Vice President / Secretary of the Party Committee National Food Quality Supervision and Inspection Centre (Cloud Technology and Application) Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, China Qiang Zheng Wang, Director Institute of Mountain Resource, Guizhou Academy of Sciences Prof Dr Songlin Yao, Prof Dr Zhang Hong Liang, Project Manager Zhou Qing Shun Zhang, PU Registrar Dr Muhammad Khalid Khan, Principal CEES Prof Dr Sajid Rashid Ahmad, Director IAGS Prof Dr Muhammad Saleem Haider and others were also present on the occasion.

The delegation visited PU College of Earth and Environmental Sciences (CEES) and Institute of Agriculture Sciences (IAGS). Prof Dr Sajid Rashid Ahmad and Prof Dr Saleem Haider briefed the delegation about research activities and discussed to enhance collaboration in various areas of interest.

Later, PU VC Dr Zafar Mueen Nasir presented souvenirs to the delegates.
