First women Neurologist has been appointed in Punjab

Lahore : In the medical field of Punjab for Neurosurgery first women Associate Professor Dr. Fauzia Sajjad has been appointed in Punjab Institute of Neuro Sciences, Lahore General Hospital. She secured first position in competitive exam of Punjab Public Service Commission. Dr. Fauzia Sajjad did her FCPS in year 2006 and got training of Neuro at Lahore General Hospital. She has been appointed as Associate Professor on regular basis and joined her duties too.

Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute Prof. Ghias un Nabi Tayyab and senior professors have congratulated her on this success.

Talking in this regard, Dr. Fauzia Sajjad said that for real success continuous struggle and to follow your teacher is must. She expressed determination that she would put all her energies to serve patients of Neuro in Lahore General Hospital and leave no stone unturned to provide them best medical care.

She said that it was indeed an honor for her to be first woman Associate Professor and she would try to come up to the expectations of her seniors.
