Disqualified PTI South Punjab president secure party office

Lahore : PTI South Punjab president Rai Hassan Nawaz has secured his office by taking plea that Election Reforms Bill 2017 permit a disqualified person to hold party office.

Rai Hassan Nawaz was disqualified by court in 2016 but he was appointed president South Punjab by the PTI leadership. 

Election Commission noticed him to leave party office.But he did not reply and the ECP continue to follow the course of law and issued him notices.

After passing the Election Reforms Bill 2017 by the parliament, Rai Hassan Nawaz filled a petition in Lahore High Court and prayed ECP to be stopped to send him notices.
