Islamabad Police booked Hamid Mir in murder case

Lahore : Islamabad Police have booked renowned journalist Hamid Mir in murder case of Col Khalid Kh on the orders of Islamabad High Court.

Col Khalid Kh who was thought to be one of the mentors of TTP and was assassinated in March 2010 in North Waziristan .

The FIR was registered on the statement of the widow of Khalid Kh who had given application to SSP Islamabad . She filed petition in the court of ASJ Islamabad but the court dismissed her petition on the report of Islamabad Police.

Later , she knocked the door of Islamabad High Court for the registration of FIR about her husband’s kidnapping and murder. The court ordered Islamabad police to lodge FIR .
