Lahore : Programme Associate of Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) Kamil Majeed has reached back home after attending a 12-day Future Leaders Conference in London which was arranged by the British Council. Youth leaders of various countries including Pakistan participated in the conference.
The objective of this conference was to provide opportunity of mutual learning to the youth of different countries.
After attending the conference, Kamil Majeed said in a statement issued here today that he met with the British Minister at Foreign and Commonwealth Office Mark Field as well as former head of Labour Party Ed Miliband while the Chief Executive of British Council Sir Ciaran Devane especially appreciated the professional skills of Kamil Majeed in the conference.
Kamil Majeed highlighted the services of Quaid-e-Azam MA Jinnah and Abdus Sattar Edhi in the conference. He also presented a research paper regarding private schools of Pakistan before the Commonwealth Scholars Community in the conference.
During his visit, Kamil Majeed met with international personalities including Lakhdar Brahimi, Kofi Annan and other important personalities and discussed the matters of mutual interest with them.
