Inter-School, College Games ; Queen Mary School, Kulliyat ul Banat College clinch hockey titles

Lahore : Director Admin SBP Javaid Rasheed Chohan has said sports activities created discipline and a will to move forward in human beings, he said this while addressing the prize distribution ceremony of Inter-School, College Games women hockey final at National Hockey Stadium on Thursday.

Director Admin SBP Javed Rasheed Chohan said Inter-School, College Games will help in polishing sports potential of young players of the province. “Women have bright future in sports. Young players can earn respect in international sports competitions if they work hard,” he added. He said Sports Board Punjab will extend every kind of assistance to talented players.

Queen Mary School defeated Crescent Model School Shadman by one goal in the school hockey final while City School Gulberg Campus got third position. In the college final, Kuliatul Banat College beat Lahore College University team by 2-1 whereas the third position went to Kinnaird College.

Chief guest Director Admin SBP Javed Rasheed Chohan awarded medals to women hockey players in the prize distribution ceremony. Women hockey players also had photographs with the chief guest.
