Eye Department of LGH organizes retirement ceremony of Prof. Dr. Abdul Hayee

Lahore : Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute Prof. Dr. Ghias un Nabi Tayyab has said that a doctor is always doctor who has to serve the ailing humanity even after retirement. He said that the career of doctor provides an opportunity to earn not only in this life but in life here in after also so we should not miss this chance and do as much good as we can.

He was addressing at the retirement ceremony of Professor of Opthalmology  Dr. Abdul Hayee held in the Eye Department of Lahore General Hospital here the other day.

Medical Superintendent of LGH Dr. Ghulam Sabir, Prof. Muhammad Moeen, senior doctors and medical officers attended this function.

Prof. G. N. Tayyab said that it is also the responsibility of seniors to train the coming generation as per the international health standards and inculcate the spirit of nationalism and professionalism especially in the young doctors.

He lauded the efforts of Prof. Dr. Abdul Hayee for training the pupils in a befitting manner and said that his services would be remembered for a long time in the Eye Department where he served in a remarkable way.

Medical Superintendent of General Hospital Dr. Ghulam Sabir and other speakers also admired the services of retiring associate and praised his professional record.

Prof. Dr. Abdul Hayee thanked all for best cooperation and said that he rendered his services with the fear of Allah Almighty and always got best results with the help of team work.
