Shahbaz Sharif criticizes federal govt on second day too

Lahore :Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif strongly condemned federal government on change of word in khatam-e-Nabuwat oath case and Imran Khan in his address to PML-N workers’ convention for failing to show solidarity with the patients during the recent attack of dengue in Peshawar.

Shahbaz Sharif asked the former prime minister and PML-N Quaid Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to kick out the minister responsible for change or mistake. A day before he had said that a few advisors of the Nawaz Sharif given wrong advices as they only want a big car and protocol while addressing at the meeting of central executive members of the party in Islamabad.

Shahbaz Sharif had never criticized upon party policies publically before.

Lashing Imran Khan , he said that when dengue attacked Peshawar, he escaped to the mountains while the ordinary people were succumbing to dengue. Leaders are not supposed to be like that, but they stand with the people during the hour of trial, he added.

On one occasion, the Chief Minister criticized the corruption in electricity generation projects during the previous tenure of Peoples Party and said that 20 crore people were pick pocketed in the name of energy projects and Nandipur Power Project was also ruined.

The Chief Minister paid rich tributes to the workers of Lahore city as well as the other people and said that your approbations are a proof and asking that you used to visit the constituency but where are you at the moment ? I am not beating about the bush but was working on the projects of cheap electricity. In the previous era, Alhamra Hall was not safe from the load-shedding but now; load-shedding has come to an end.

During his speech, the party workers raised slogans in an emotional manner and due to it; Shahbaz Sharif had to stop his speech many times. He forbade the workers many times to stop slogan- mongering.

On the issue of finality of Prophethood, the Chief Minister said that he has recommended initiating strict action against the one who has changed the words.

The Chief Minister asked to raise the slogan of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Zindabad and also prayed for the recovery of his sister-in-law Kalsoom Nawaz.
