Arfa Karim Tower blast target was Shahbaz Sharif : DG ISPR

Lahore : The target of bomb explosion near Arfa Karim Tower was Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. This was disclosed during the press conference of DG ISPR.

During the press conference it was revealed that Rangers have conducted 1728 operations on secret information in Punjab.

During these operations, terrorist planning to attack on Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has also been arrested.

The actual target of Arfa Karim attack was Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, but at the 11^th hour the visit of Punjab Chief Minister was postponed. After the postponement of Chief Minister’s visit, the terrorist targeted police.

During the press briefing it was further told that terrorist planning to attack Chief Minister has also been arrested during operation by rangers.
