Lahore : Nurses of Services Hospital celebrated Independence Day at Services Hospital and cut 70 pound cake in Nurses Hostel where they also took part in other activities held in this connection. Nurses also participated in speech on independence movement and highlighted the role of women workers in the creation of Pakistan.
Chief Nursing Superintendent Samina Yasmeen said that 14th August is the day of reviving the commitment with this motherland. She said that we should recall our firm belief with hardworking, honesty and missionary fervor.
Chief Nursing Superintendent said that every year Independence Day is celebrated in Nursing Hostel of Services Hospital.
YNA President Shamshad Niazi other nurses including Fauzia Taswar, Famhida Haider and Lubna Yasmeen also addressed this ceremony and expressed their firm commitment to work for the betterment of ailing humanity. They said that we will prove ourselves an alive nation and perform our duties with national spirit.
Speakers said that working women especially serving in medical field have great contribution towards national progress and prosperity.
