Lahore : Five goalkeepers have been called to join the national hockey camp in Islamabad.Mazhar Abbas (NBP), Muneeb ur Rehman (SSGC), Hafiz Ali Umair (SNGPL), Waleed Akhtar (Bannu) & Amjad Ali (SSGC) were short listed after a two week specialised goalkeepers training camp in Karachi.
A total of 13 goal keepers had attended the camp where Pakistan’s former goal keeper Nasir Ahmed, a veteran of two World Cups (2006 & 2010) and one Olympics (2008), imparted the training.
