Lahore : As many as 9 dead bodies and 30 injured were brought in Lahore General Hospital after suicide attack at Ferozepur Road on Monday afternoon.
It was disclosed by Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute Prof. Ghiyas-un-Nabi Tayyab who told that very after incident emergency was imposed in the Lahore General Hospital where including Medical Superintendent Dr. Ghulam Sabir and all senior doctors and staff was present to provide immediate medical assistance to victims of the blast.
Principal PGMI told that on the directions of the Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif special measures were taken to save the lives of injured ones and all steps were taken.
He told that Lahore General Hospital has established help-line 042 99264117 for the general public and relatives of the injured to get details. He assured that Lahore General Hospital would provide all possible help to affectees of this incident.
Prof. Ghiyas-un-Nabi Tayyab also expressed his heartfelt sympathies to the members of the bereaved families and prayed for the early recovery of the victims.
