The opponents trying to impede journey towards prosperity : Shahbaz Sharif

Lahore : Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that public service cannot be done through hollow sloganeering as one has to spend lifetime to serve the masses. He added that four years of Pakistan Muslim League-N government are full of service to the people. The life and death of the leadership of PML-N rests with the people and as long as we are alive, we shall continue to serve the people.

He said that some politicians have no interest in national development and prosperity as they are bent upon spreading anarchy in the country. When Pakistan is progressing speedily and a new history of transparency has been written in development projects, then any attempt to derail the development process through chaos tantamount to enmity with the country.

Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif expressed these views while talking to elected representatives. He said that opponents are conspiring through the politics of deceit and allegations; adding that these opponents of development and prosperity are indulged in leveling baseless allegations, having no relevance to facts. Pakistan’s speedy journey towards lights from the clutches of darkness has made the opponent unnerved and some of the politicians have set the national interests aside for their personal gains, while their negative politics is hampering the national economy. The opponents are trying to impede people’s journey towards prosperity through name-calling and adoption of non-democratic norms. But the conscious people of Pakistan have rejected the elements leveling baseless allegations at every occasion and the elements obstructing public development and prosperity will be disappointed in future as well.

He said that there is no room for politics of allegations and deceit in Pakistan. The elements indulged in the politics of chaos should understand facts for the sake of public welfare.

The Chief Minister said that leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is fully committed to wriggle the country out of crises and the PML-N government is implementing the mission of providing better services to the people. All resources are being utilized to make the country developed and prosperous.

He said that some political elements are conspiring to promote chaos in the country but the conscious people will not make this negative agenda of such elements to succeed. He said that transparency and high-quality completion of development projects is the hallmark of the government and every step has been taken to improve the quality of life of the people.

Provision of relief and public service is the pivot of our politics; he said and added that the politics of PML-N is aimed at development, prosperity and poverty alleviation. He made it clear that PML-N is engaged in the politics of norms and not in the power-politics. We are working honestly and Pakistan of today is more strengthened and prosperous.

He further said that completion of development projects will altogether change the socio-economic conditions of the country.
