CCPO ordered combing operations to ensure foolproof security on Eid-ul-Fitar

Lahore : Capital City Police Officer Lahore Additional IGP Capt. (R) Amin Wains ordered combing operations & mock exercises to ensure foolproof security on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitar in the city.

CCPO was presiding a high level meeting to ensure foolproof security on the eve of Eid ul Fitr at Qila Gujjar Singh Police Lines, today.

DIG Operations Dr. Haider Ashraf, DIG Investigation Ch. Sultan, DIG Security Dr. Moeen ,Chief Traffic Officer Lahore SSP Rai Ijaz Ahmad, SSP Investigation Ghulam Mubashir Maken, SP Anti Rite Muhammad Naveed, SP Mobiles Faisal Shahzad, SP CIA Tariq Mastoi, SP VVIP Security Fahad, all Divisional SPs, all SDPOs & SHOs were present on the occasion.

CCPO Lahore Capt (R) Muhammad Amin Wains said that every Divisional SP will conduct mock exercises & effective combing operations in which emergency exercises will be conducted in different areas, he ordered all the SPs to ensure betterment in 15 call response, time response of helping teams and quick response, to tackle emergency situation during emergency exercises.

CCPO ordered to provide category wise fool proof security to all the important buildings, he further added that foolproof security will be ensured at entry exit points of the city and to the important installations also, on the eve of EidulFitar, CCPO ordered to take strict action against one wheeling and aerial firing till EidulFitar. He said that criminals be brought to end at the high crime ratio areas through effective patrolling, Moharrars are playing very important roles to change “thana culture” and we are conducting modern training modules for Moharars, Traditional mindset of Police is changed and Lahore police from top to bottom is serving public.

DIG Operations Dr. Haider Ashraf said that Officers and officials provided fool proof security to visitors on the eve of Youm e Ali, they deserve appreciation & congratulations. The most protective method to secure any event is to brief comprehensively the deputed force that’s why where there is best coordination between Officers and lower subordinates there is no unpleasant incident Alhamdulillah.

He said that always brief deployed force regarding threat and security and maintain complete coordination, he further added that snap checking and search operations will be conducted on regular basis in the city and all the SPs, DSPs and SHOs will take part in this event.

Chief Traffic Officer Lahore SSP Rai ijaz Ahamd said that City Traffic Police Lahore will also provide the best transport facilities like Youm e Ali to the citizens on the eve of Eid ul Fitar.

A special Traffic Plan has been set to ensure smooth flow of traffic at markets and important roundabouts on the eve of Eid ul Fitar.

Officers and Traffic Wardens will perform duties shoulder by shoulder. CTO appealed citizens to cooperate with Traffic Wardens on the eve of Eid ul Fitar the way they are cooperating during the holy month of Ramzan.
