Prize distribution ceremony held at Government Girls High School

Mandi Bahauddin (Sher Gondal) : ‘Punjab CM speech and essay writing completion’ of district level was held here at Government Girls High School under arrangement District Education Authority.

MPA Shafqat Gondal was the chief guest on the occasion.  CEO Education, District Education officer (Secondary Education) and other teaching staff members of the schools attended the function.

Male and female students of secondary classes participated in the competition.

After distribution of cash prizes and certificates among the position holders, the chief guest said Punjab government was striving hard to bring revolutionary changes in education field.

He said new schools had been opened and old schools had been renovated and extended to accommodate more students and create conducive atmosphere to learning and curricular activities of the students. All facilities like water, electricity, wash rooms and security arrangements had been made, he claimed.

Teachers’ deficiency had been made up by new recruitment on merit. Students showing good results are given laptops, cash awards and certificates to create competition spirit among them.  He said all these measures were now bearing the fruit as the students were giving good results in the exams.

He appreciated teachers for their hard work and dedication. He said these are the teachers who build future of the nation by imparting quality education and building character of the students.

Earlier on his arrival, the students presented bouquets of flowers Shafqat Gondal and accorded him warm welcome.
