Ms Margaret Thomson inaugurates Women Resource Centers at Kinnaird College

Lahore : Provincial Minister for Minorities and Human Rights  Khalil Tahir Sandhu has said that solution of all domestic problems is possible only through education and initiative of women resource centre will be a milestone in this regard. The Minister said that he is thankful to Australian government for playing important role for building this centre in Kinnaird College Lahore. He said that hopefully more centers will be constructed in southern Punjab very soon.

He expressed these views while inauguration of Women Resource Centers along Australian High Commissioner in Kinnaird College Lahore. M.P.A Kanji Ram, Principal  Kinnaird college madam Rukhsana David,  Vice Principal Kinnaird College Dr. Nighat Khan, President of FACES Pakistan Javaid William were also present.

Australian High Commissioner Margaret Thomson also expressed her views during talk with media persons; she said this is a great honor to be a part of this initiative. She also said that Australian Government is keen to strengthen relations with Pakistan and these types of initiatives will be helpful for the best future between both countries.

Provincial Minister Humanities Khalil Tahir Sandhu while talking to media said that hopefully this kind of centers will become helpful to those ladies who belong to deprived areas like southern Punjab. Scholarships and short term courses also are part of this centre and this will become real change of society.
